Hi! It’s been a while. I know. Uranus finally left Taurus after seven long years of chaos, so I figured it was time to open the windows and let some fresh air in.

And somewhere in the middle of all that, something special happened. New York feels like New York again. Like 2010 New York. Like 2008 New York. The city feels alive in a way I can’t fully verbalize right now but I’ll be able to at the end of the year. It’s been incredible to be here, to be present, and to be a New Yorker (which I am, regardless of what JLo says). Knicks in 5!!!

I’ve seen fireworks six times in the last four weeks. That feels symbolic somehow. Like the city is celebrating being back. Kinda emotional, right? Feels like something Timmy Chalamet would say in a Josh Safdie film. A few people have asked me to share my summer favorites, so I thought I’d make a list of everything I’m loving right now.

Flaming Estate’s Prinsesstårta Milk Bar Soap

Heaven in a bar of soap? It exists. It left my skin feeling soft and with the lightest fragrance. I save it for my evening baths. Sets the mood to unwind and watch Love Island UK.

If you know me well, you know I love a t-shirt and this has been one of my favorite tees I’ve bought this year. It feels good on, know what I mean? It’s simple and fits well and goes with everything and it’s unisex.

Eadem Sunsuede SPF 50+ Sunscreen & Blurring Primer Stick

No white cast on melanted skin tones, pore-blurring and SPF 50+, what more can you ask for. I wear it everyday and no complaints.

Alaïa Round Sunglasses

I always carry two pairs of sunglasses with me, one with transparent lens and the other, blacked out lens lol, the first for when I want someone to see my eyes and the latter when I don’t want that. This is for the latter, it’s very early 2000’s Olsen twins, I take it everywhere with me.

Abra Khaki Cotton Shorts

So apparently the men hate to see women wearing cargo shorts and they’re saying we look like John Cena lol. Even more of an incentive to wear them. I love Abra, I’m a big fan of Abraham Ortūno Perez. *Fun fact, Abraham designed Loewe's broken eggs sandals, which I proudly own. The shorts also comes in green.

Lii Red & White Contrast Long Sleeve Bodysuit Tee

Lii is one of my favorite new designers, he’s part of this year’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund class. I love love this tee, the quality is outstanding. I wish it came in a few other colors. I’ll also be wearing it in the fall and the winter lol.

Ancient Greek Esther Beaded Sandals

A sandal that feels like walking on a cloud. The metallic beads make it easy to wear from day to night, whether it’s with jeans and a T-shirt or a slip dress. And the sneaker laces are such a smart detail. They stay tied and don’t unravel every five minutes.

Emily Dawn Long River Shawl

Another one from the class of CFDA’s 2026 Fashion Fund Finalists, Emily gets it, she’s a name to remember. I love this shawl, you can wear it as a top (as pictured), a skirt, scarf and a shawl.

Le Labo The Matcha 26

I was wearing this when David Beckham kissed and hugged me and picked me up from the floor in April lol. It’s my absolute favorite summer fragrance, it wears really well.

Dior Milly-La-Forêt (the crunchy bag)

Dior gifted this bag to me in yellow and I’m almost ashamed to say that I’ve worn it every other day. It holds A-LOT and doesn’t slide from my shoulder and feels good in my hand, I’m big on tactility. It’s practical and doesn’t feel too precious. I’m obsessed with the green and the bordeaux.

I plan on wearing this with a leather backless top from St. Agni and my Ancient Greek beaded sandals at night and layered over my vintage Levis jeans with a white tee during the day a la David Beckham in 1998.

I was very against Love Story: John and Carolyn by Ryan Murphy, then I watched it and haven’t stopped thinking about it, thinking about them, mainly because of Carolyn. This memoir is written by John’s former girlfriend, Christina Haag, she introduced him to Cumberland Island, where he later married Carolyn. I’ve been told it’s a VERY good read.
